HACLA Celebrates Grand Opening of Boys & Girls Club at William Mead Homes
The Housing Authority of the City of Los Angeles (HACLA) celebrated the grand opening and a ribbon cutting ceremony of Boys & Girls Club of William Mead Homes. Representatives from the offices of Supervisor Hilda Solis and Councilmember Gilbert Cedillo were in attendance to award Certificates of Recognition to the Boys & Girls Club staff. Adidas Employees Volunteer at Imperial Courts and Donate Gear to Youth
Over 200 Adidas Employees participated in a two-day volunteer event at Imperial Courts public housing site in Watts. This project came to fruition through a partnership between Adidas and Watts Empowerment Center operated by Redeye, HACLA’s on-site service provider. Imperial Courts Hosts Star View Health and Resource Fair
Over 100 non-profits, health and community organizations participated in Stars Behavioral Health Group’s Annual Resource Fair held at the Imperial Courts public housing development. The collaborative event sponsored by Red Eye and Starts Behavioral Health Group, featured a carnival theme which attracted nearly 2,000 Imperial Courts and Watts community residents.
