HACLA Celebrates Grand Opening of Three Permanent Supportive Housing Developments

The Housing Authority of the City of Los Angeles (HACLA) joined PATH Ventures at the grand opening celebration of  the Villas at Del Rey. HACLA is contributing over $4 million to house homeless and chronically homeless disabled individuals at this location.

  • Developer: PATH Ventures
  • Units:  Total—23; PBV—22; Chronic Homeless Units– 18
  • Estimated HACLA Project Contribution: $4.4 million in HAP over the 15 year contract
  • Target Population:  Homeless and Chronically Homeless Disabled Individuals
  • Supportive Service Providers:  PATH Ventures, LA County Department of Mental Health, St. Joseph Center.
  • Developer Notable:  PATH Ventures has 5 projects in the HACLA PBV Program totaling 201 PBV units and a commitment of $41.1 million in HAP. The projects are the Villas at Gower (co-developed with ACOF), the Villas at Del Rey, Vermont Villas (VASH), and the Marmion Way Apartments (VASH, co-developed with Palm Communities), and PATH Metro Villas.
  • Total HACLA PBV commitment to date (all projects):  3599 units; $720,089,640

Moonlight Villas

  • Address:   12381 W. Osborne Street, Pacoima, CA 91331
  • Developer: Abbey Road & LA Housing Partnership
  • Units:  Total—27; PBV—26
  • Estimated HACLA Project Contribution: $6.4 million in HAP over the 15 year contract
  • Target Population:  Homeless and at-risk TAY and families below 50% AMI
  • Supportive Service Providers:  Penny Lane Centers
  • Developer Notable:  This is HACLA’s second PBV project with LA Housing Partnership.  Parkview on the Park opened in 2012 and provides 79 PBV units to formerly homeless seniors. This is HACLA’s first PBV project with Abbey Road.   
  • Total HACLA PBV commitment to date (all projects):  3599 units; $720,089,640

 

Vermont Villas

  • Address:  16304 S. Vermont Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90247
  • Developer: PATH Ventures & Affirmed Housing Group
  • Units:  Total—81; PBV—50; Chronic Homeless Units-50
  • Estimated HACLA Project Contribution: $9.9 million in HAP over the 15 year contract
  • Target Population:  VASH, chronically homeless Veterans
  • Supportive Service Providers:  PATH Ventures (PV has entered into an MOU with the LA County Department of Health Services)
  • Developer Notable: PATH Ventures has 5 projects in the HACLA PBV Program totaling 201 PBV units and a commitment of $41.1 million in HAP. The projects are the Villas at Gower (co-developed with ACOF), the Villas at Del Rey, Vermont Villas (VASH), and the Marmion Way Apartments (VASH, co-developed with Palm Communities), and PATH Metro Villas.
