Jumpstart Volunteers Help Build Literacy Skills at Estrada Courts Public Housing
Six Jumpstart Foster Grandparent volunteers are the newest addition to the Housing Authority’s tool in helping youth attain 3rd grade reading proficiency at Estrada Learning Center. Grand Opening of the Watts/Los Angeles WorkSource Center at Imperial Courts
November 19 - The Housing Authority of the City of Los Angeles (HACLA) celebrated the grand opening of the Watts/Los Angeles WorkSource Center (WSC) with a Ribbon Cutting ceremony. The Housing Authority’s WorkSource Portal is expanding its services as a result of a $5 million five year grant from the Department of Labor.
