Despite things looking different this year due to the COVID pandemic, the staff at the Housing Authority of the City of Los Angeles (HACLA) were determined to bring holiday joy to the children of its public housing developments. On December 2nd, Los Angeles City announced 40 local families experiencing homelessness are moving into a new apartment complex in the San Fernando Valley. Parthenia Place, located in Council District 6, is the city’s first State Homekey Project site to house homeless people. Electric Car Share Pilot Program Launches in Rancho San Pedro
Together with the Housing Authority of the City of Los Angeles (HACLA), Los Angeles Cleantech Incubator (LACI) and Envoy have launched a new and affordable electric vehicle (EV) community car-share program. On Saturday, September 12, 2020 The Housing Authority of the City of Los Angeles (HACLA) held another back to school event at its Pueblo del Rio site. Children from the community were invited to come to Pueblo del Rio’s Social Hall between the hours of 11am – 2pm for a free backpack giveaway as students continue to prep for back to school. HACLA Hosts Census 2020 Outreach Event at San Fernando Gardens
On Thursday, September 3rd, San Fernando Gardens held a Census 2020 Outreach Event at its Community Center.
