HACLA Hosts Summer Community Partners Conference

The Housing Authority of the City of Los Angeles (HACLA) hosted its Summer Community Partners Conference on July 23rd at Jordan Downs Community Center in Watts. Every quarter, HACLA’s collaborating agencies convene to update each other on their progress in serving HACLA’s residents and services provided at the Watts/Los Angeles WorkSource Center. They also share information on upcoming events. Representatives from the following organizations attended the conference: Los Angeles County Department of Health Services, Cerritos College, SCE Federal Credit Union, MCS Business Source Center, Children’s Collective FamilySource Center, South Los Angeles Business Source Center, and Boys & Girls Club of West San Gabriel Valley.

HACLA’s partners braved the heatwave to reaffirm their commitment to our families and wider community and listen to the latest news from the WorkSource Center staff on the Jordan Downs Redevelopment Project. HACLA appreciates the abundant services the community partners provide to public housing sites and surrounding neighborhoods.
